Important surface note

Made for Smooth Hard Surfaces

Our adhesive vinyl works best on clean, smooth hard surfaces such as glass, painted metal, fiberglass, coolers, windows, trailers, signs, and similar surfaces.

For boats, vehicles, trailers, and business lettering, we’ll ask for surface details, approximate measurements, color preferences, and reference photos when possible so we can recommend the best size and layout.

How Boat & Business Quotes Work

1. Send the Project Details

Tell us what you need, where it will go, the wording, approximate size, color, surface type, and deadline.

2. We Review the Job

We’ll look over the details and may ask for photos, measurements, or clarification before quoting.

3. Quote or Deposit

Larger jobs, business lettering, boat lettering, or detailed design work may require a deposit before design work begins.

4. Proof and Approval

You’ll receive a proof when applicable. Nothing custom is cut until the final design is approved.

5. Production

Once approved and paid for, we cut, weed, tape, and prepare the vinyl.

6. Pickup, Meet-Up, or Application Planning

Most projects are prepared for pickup, local meet-up, or DIY application. Small application help may be available by arrangement depending on the project.

Before You Submit

Boat, business, vehicle, trailer, and larger vinyl projects may require a quote, design approval, and deposit before production.

Final size, color, layout, and wording must be approved before cutting. Once approved and produced, custom vinyl orders are non-refundable unless there is a Southern Maryland Decals error.

Customer-provided reference images, logos, or artwork are helpful, but we may not be able to copy copyrighted characters, brand logos, team logos, trademarked artwork, or designs that belong to someone else.

Adhesive vinyl is made for clean, smooth compatible surfaces. Installation/application is the customer’s responsibility unless application help is specifically arranged.
