What We Can Make
Custom designs can be made for all kinds of uses, including car windows, truck decals, cooler decals, laptop decals,
signs, gifts, family designs, hobby designs, funny sayings, names, phrases, and DIY iron-on transfers for
shirts, hoodies, tote bags, and more.
Adhesive vinyl decals are made for smooth hard surfaces like cars, windows, coolers, signs, laptops, trailers, and similar surfaces.
DIY iron-on transfers are made for compatible fabric items like shirts, hoodies, tote bags, and more. You apply them yourself using the provided instructions.

How Custom Orders Work
1. Submit Your Request
Fill out the form with as much detail as possible. Include the wording, size, color, surface, deadline, and any reference images you have.
2. We Review the Details
We usually respond within 24 hours. If anything is missing, we’ll ask follow-up questions before quoting or designing.
3. Quote or Deposit
Simple custom decals may receive a quick proof when possible. More detailed custom artwork may require a design deposit before deeper design work begins.
4. Proof and Approval
Custom orders include an initial proof and one revision round when applicable. Nothing custom is cut until you approve the final design.
5. Production
Once approved and paid for, we cut, weed, prepare, and package your decal or transfer.
6. Pickup, Meet-Up, or Delivery
Pickup is available in Lusby by arrangement. Local meet-up may be available in town, and delivery may be available within the Lusby/Solomons area depending on the order.
Starting Prices
Simple custom decals start at $10.
Larger personal custom decals usually start around $15–$30+, depending on size, material, color, and complexity.
Detailed custom design work may require a $25 design deposit.
Complex custom artwork may require a $50+ design deposit.
Final pricing depends on size, quantity, material, color count, design complexity, weeding difficulty,
decal or transfer format, and any rush deadline needs.
Please include- What you want made, where it will go, the exact wording, approximate size, color, quantity, deadline, and whether you want adhesive vinyl or a DIY iron-on transfer. Have reference images, sketches, logos, screenshots, or voice notes? Submit the form first, then reply to our email with your files.
Custom orders require final approval before production. Payment or a design deposit may be required before design or cutting begins.
DIY installation/application is the customer’s responsibility.
Custom orders may include an initial proof and one revision round when applicable.
Additional revisions or changes after approval/production may require an extra design or remake fee.
Reference images are helpful, but Southern Maryland Decals may not be able to copy copyrighted characters, brand logos, team logos, trademarked artwork, or designs that belong to someone else.
